Stress is a raging Cajun beast!
When it rears its ugly head, it can all but consume you.
Let’s just be real. It’s been one of those weeks. My husband has endured one too many nights of the “ugly cry” & my rambling venting frustrations. Bless him! It hasn’t been my finest hour. And ladies, sporting the teary eyed raccoon look is far from sexy. Feel me? Blah.
Maybe the stress makes you want to throw a tantrum like a two year old, throwing up your hands & screaming, “I’m over being an adult, I just want to play with my toys!” Hmmmmm…Yep! There’s your sign! You’ve officially had enough!
But, even during those difficult times, God is there. He’s our ever present protector.
“Fear not” is mentioned 365 times in the Bible. 365 times!! One for every day of the year! Man, He is so good! His son died on the cross for us. He sacrificed His One and only Son so that my sins are forgiven! His blood washed away my sins! My pain & suffering is nothing compared to what Jesus endured for me!
During these difficult times, God has shone through & graced me with moments where I feel His respite. I know he’s with me.
…Trust me. I am with you….
I had one of those moments today, and I wanted to share it with you.
The pups, our barn cat, and I went walking through the woods (yes, every good hike needs a traveling cat)…
As my head began to clear, I was able to see the world around me more clearly…And what a sight it was! Stress be gone!
“Tis grace that brought me safe thus far, and grace will lead me home”
